  • Designed/implemented Purchasing functionality for $2B distributor with 45 DCs to streamline acquisition process.
     
  • Decreased working capital by 40 percent while increasing inventory turns from 4.2 to 12.5 annually; increased order fill rate from 42 percent to 99 percent; decreased warehouse space requirements by 45 percent; decreased overstocked inventory from 58 percent greater than eight weeks on hand to less than 18 percent greater than eight weeks on hand.
      
  • Designed/Implemented JDE inventory management strategy for $5B distributor with 58 DCs to increase service level to 96%+ while decreasing inventory investment$ by 20%.
      
  • Designed/implemented inventory management and Purchasing strategy for distributor of imported hard goods (90 day lead times) to increase inventory turns by 40% while maintaining 98%+ order fill rate.
     
  • Designed/implemented Corporate Performance Management systems for multiple companies.

  • IT Strategy – Facilitated 3 day workshop with the Sr. Management to re-focus the IT organization to better serve the business and set the groundwork for the budgeting and planning process. Re-defined their Mission/Value Proposition, identified the 6 key strategy components they needed to address, and the identified specific initiatives they needed to accomplish to fulfill their objectives. This led to changes in focus and execution priorities within the IT organization.
     
  • Cost Cutting/Process Improvement - Facilitated targeted sessions to evaluate and recommend changes to business processes leading to increased quality of performance, streamlined operations and cost savings for the corporation. Assisted in planning the implementation of approved recommendations. This resulted in a cost savings of $30 million.
     
  • IT Strategy and Planning - Executed an IT diagnostic to assess the IT mission and performance against the new corporate business strategy and its effectiveness in serving the business and functional units within the company. Facilitated a team (Business VP’s and Directors) to develop a new, integrated Information Technology strategy consistent with the corporate business strategy and to identify the top 10 initiatives for executing the new IT strategy.
     
  • Data Warehouse Business Requirements – Led a team in defining the business requirements for a corporate data warehouse to provide better financial, planning and customer service capabilities. Facilitated business requirement identification sessions and interviews, analyzed and presented the findings to the executive board.
